What began as a few LEGO gifts for my son quickly reignited my own love for the bricks. Now, through this blog, we’re starting our LEGO collection and sharing our journey together — from the excitement of unboxing to the satisfaction of completing a build.

Rediscovering a LEGO Passion

As a child, I spent countless hours with LEGO. While some enjoyed free-building, I loved carefully following instructions, making sure every brick matched the picture on the box. I didn’t have a huge collection, but finishing a set was always pure satisfaction. Over time, though, life and other priorities took over, and LEGO slowly faded into the background.

That changed when my son began receiving sets as presents. Sitting down together to build not only brought back old memories but also created new ones — turning LEGO into a shared passion between us.

The Spark That Started Our Collection

Some months ago, we came across news of LEGO’s latest collaboration — LEGO One Piece. As longtime fans of both the anime and Netflix’s live-action series, my son and I couldn’t resist. We ordered the sets through our local store, and the day they arrived felt like Christmas morning. Seeing the Straw Hat Pirates brought to life in LEGO form was unforgettable — and it marked the true beginning of our collection.
