Charting the Course – Introducing the LEGO One Piece Theme
Following our first post about rediscovering our LEGO passion, it’s time to dive into the sets that started it all. We’re officially charting our course through the LEGO One Piece theme and can’t wait to share our experiences.
LEGO One Piece 2025 Official Launch Timeline
Rumors of a collaboration between LEGO and Netflix began circulating in late 2024, but official confirmation arrived in January 2025, when LEGO unveiled the LEGO One Piece theme tied to Netflix’s live-action series. All sets became globally available on August 1, 2025. We had to wait a bit for our local store, which relied on resellers rather than direct LEGO shipping — an extra anticipation that made receiving our sets even more exciting!
To celebrate the launch, LEGO organized special in-store fan events, which included giveaways and “Gum Gum Fruit Make & Take” activities. Since no events were held locally, we missed out this time, but we’re planning to track these special collectibles for our LEGO collection.

LEGO One Piece Wanted Posters Collectibles
Each of the five main sets includes random Wanted Posters tiles, with a total of eight unique posters to collect. Distribution varies — Windmill Village Hut has one, Buggy's Circus Tent includes two, Battle at Arlong Park offers three, The Going Merry Pirate Ship gives four, and The Baratie Floating Restaurant contains five. This adds a fun collectible twist to the builds. We’ll explore these Wanted Posters in detail in a future post.
What’s Next
Now that our sets have arrived, the real adventure begins. In the coming weeks, we’ll share first impressions, step-by-step builds, set reviews and ratings, and we will delve into the stories and characters behind each model. Larger builds like The Going Merry Pirate Ship and The Baratie Floating Restaurant promise hours of creative fun. We’ll also be on the lookout for all eight Wanted Posters, and hopefully we will manage to complete our collection.
Our approach is simple — take it slow, savor each build, and enjoy every step. We’re thrilled to share this journey with you and look forward to many hours of LEGO building ahead.
